Longborough, extension to Grade II listed cottage

We created a ground floor extension of a contemporary nature to increase the living areas and bedrooms. The plan was to turn this grade II listed cottage into a family home. We chose to design the extension to contrast and complement the existing cottage. It was important to retain subservience to the existing and to be able to read the story of development easily which is what we did.
